L&M TV & Appliance has been proudly serving Amsterdam and its surrounding areas for over 50 years. When our founder, Joe Lavicka, started the business with his brother-in-law, they laid the foundation for the best customer service around. The place was small - they sold appliances out of Joe's garage - but they treated everyone like friends and family, giving their customers the best customer service with the best prices around.

Joe took over as sole owner and slowly started to expand the business (while running Pin Haven Bowling Alley). Joe's two sons grew up in the business. His oldest son, Joe, began to work with his father and eventually took over the business. He added electronics, camcorders, and video-rentals to the business while adding to the building. Today, L&M still is proudly owned by Joe and his family. With Joe's children, Elise and Joe Jr, now involved in the business, we are proud to be a third generation family-owned business.

We continue to grow while always keeping our customers in mind. We have 3 warehouses, a large selection of appliances, a live demonstration of electronics, and our newest addition - mattresses! Although a lot has changed over the years, our customer service hasn't. We have been committed to providing our customers with a pleasant and personal shopping experience without the high pressure sales tactics.

We offer our customers name brands for kitchen, laundry, electronics, home comfort and mattress products. Our knowledgeable sales professionals are dedicated to help our customers find a product that fits their needs, budget and lifestyle. To this day, we continue with the foundation of customer service that started over 50 years ago.
